Hi I would like to be able to sell a download of instructions (or email after payment received and then have the customer added to a subscription or payment plan.)

I selling a web site CMS with hosting and email support as as service.

I would like to be able to use paypal for the subscription management, I read something earlier about using a Notify_url but that was for an ASP page I am using ASP.net retail 1.21

This is essential for this store to be of any use to me.

Thank you for your time.

Hi, the previous version of D2 StoreFront, D2 Sitelock Subs was designed for selling subscriptions but was classic ASP. This has not yet been added to D2 StoreFront though so the only way you'd currently ba able to sell Subs is by getting the source version and coding the Paypal changes yourself.

When it DOES support subscriptions it will be via a seperate product as the storefront and shopping cart part of the app are not generally used when selling subscription, its just normally a few buttons placed on your website.

Hmmm that's no good,

Seems from that info I might as well send them straight to PayPal.com for the subscription.

Do you have the previous version?

Does it use SMTP with authentication?

The subscription functionality is what everything is based on?

While I haven't used ASP in a while I have in the past.

Disappointed in the D2Storefront ASP.net not at least having recurring sales let alone subscriptions, oh well
turns out $50 is at least a cheap lesson, that I should read better what I am buying.

Hi, yep, sorry but to be fair it in no ways bill itself as being a subscription sales solution. This isn't the first time i've had this request though so i'm going to implement it, as realistically its not much work to add it in - its mainly just creating a new IPN script to handle subscription notifications. Doesn't help you in the short term though but i'll add a copy of the original Sitelock Subs solution to your download account for you to play with if you wish.

Realistically going to be a couple of weeks before the updated D2 StoreFront subscription support is released though.

I have been trying to figure this one out too and I would like it to be added in the asp.net application. We would greatly appreciate it if you could add this feature soon. As one of those extra features your product have that others do not have.

Thanks Paul.
